Love the Shepherd's Pies--great comfort food, and not too much salt or garlic!

    Shepherd's Pie

My son and family sent me a video of them eating the pie, they said it was delicious. It was an appropriate gift since he is a "shepherd" over 500 sheep roaming the hills in Gallipolis, Ohio. ?

Description

Beef Shepherd's Pie is a ready-to-bake beef entrée with peas, carrots, corn and onions in a flaky pastry crust, topped with mashed potatoes. Each 2.5 lb pie serves up to eight and can be baked from frozen or after thawing overnight in the refrigerator.

Beef Shepherd's Pie for a comforting dinner

Bring a British-inspired favorite to the table without assembling the filling or pastry yourself. Savory beef, vegetables and a mashed-potato topping make this pie a hearty choice for a family dinner or a practical meal gift.

  • Package: One 2.5 lb beef pie.
  • Serving Size: Serves 8; portions vary with appetite and accompaniments.
  • Preparation: Bake from frozen or thaw overnight in the refrigerator before baking. Heat the center to 165°F and finish uncovered to brown the crust.
  • Allergens: Contains milk and wheat. See Preparation & Ingredients for the complete supplier ingredient list.
  • Included: One pie; any separately suggested side dishes are not included.

For the complete thawed and frozen cooking directions, open Preparation & Ingredients. This is a ready-to-bake item, not a ready-to-eat dish, and cooking time depends on whether the pie is frozen or thawed.
