Honey Walnut Shrimp is a modern classic, combining the ocean flavor of butterflied shrimp with the sweet nuttiness of roasted candied walnuts. Here, the butterflied shrimp are lightly coated in batter, then mixed with a delicate honey sauce and candied walnuts for an array of tastes and textures. It’s a clever recipe that makes them sweet, salty, and crunchy all at once. The honey-walnut flavors are a wonderful complement to both the flavor and texture of the butterflied shrimp.

    Honey Walnut Shrimp

For a while it looked like they would no longer be carrying this. It is really excellent, crispy battered shrimps, incredible sauce (citrusy and sooo good) and the walnuts give it an unusual crunch and flavor. I serve it with plain basmati rice so as not to detract from the flavors (basmati being very subtly nutty). I had grown very tired of shrimp, but I’m addicted to these.
