This is a simple potato, given the gourmet treatment. This creamy classic mashed potato side dish features delicious whipped potatoes, perfectly seasoned, kicked up a notch with decadent crème fraîche. Meal Preparation
Keep frozen until ready to bake. Remove lid and preheat oven to 350°F. Bake 30-40 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and top is browned in places. To ensure it cooks fully, stir gently halfway through baking. If top browns too quickly, cover with foil until casserole is finished cooking. Let set for 5 minutes before serving.

    This potato dish is really good—much better than any other mashed potatoes I have tried. One casserole is enough for 3 meals for my husband and myself. Bake on a baking sheet—the container is flimsy. Also, stir during the baking and bake longer than the instructions say. I think defrosting the casserole prior to baking would help too. When fully frozen the potatoes don’t bake in the middle without stirring and without a longer baking time.
