Wild Alaskan Cod Fillets
Thaw in refrigerator. When thawing, remove from plastic packaging. Cover and refrigerate below 38°F. Once thawed, consume within one to two days.
SEAR ROAST: Preheat oven at 300°F. Pat dry and season desired number of fish fillets. Preheat an oven-proof skillet with 2 tsp. of cooking oil to medium-high. Carefully place cod in hot pan. Cook for 4 minutes on first side. Carefully flip fish then place skillet into preheated oven. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until fish is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.OVEN: Preheat oven to 350°F. Pat dry and season desired number of fish fillets. Place fillets on a lightly oiled, foil-lined baking sheet. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until fish is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
PAN SAUTÉ: Pat dry and season desired number of fish fillets. Preheat a skillet with 2 tsp. of cooking oil to medium-high. Carefully place cod in pan and cook for 5-6 minutes. Flip and cook an additional 5-6 minutes or until fish is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
BROIL: Preheat broiler to high and position top rack 3-4" from broiler. Pat dry and season desired number of fish fillets. Brush with olive oil or melted butter, season, and place on an oven-proof, foil-lined baking sheet. Broil 4 minutes, flip fillets, and broil an additional 4 minutes or until fish is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
GRILL: Preheat grill to medium or 400°F. Season/oil grill grates. Pat dry, lightly oil and season desired number of fish fillets. Grill fillets covered 4-5 minutes, or until fillet releases easily from grill grates. Flip fillets and grill an additional 3-4 minutes or until fish is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Family-Size Whipped Sweet Potatoes
Do Not Thaw.
MICROWAVE (1100-WATT): Remove wrapping. Microwave on high for 8 minutes. Stir potatoes. Return to microwave and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
OVEN: Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove wrapping. Cover potatoes tray with foil and place on a baking sheet. Heat for 30 minutes. Remove foil and stir potatoes. Continue heating for an additional 30 minutes.
Creme Brulee
Oven Broil (Preferred method) DO NOT THAW: Preheat broiler on high setting. Position top rack 3-4 inches from the broiler element so that the top of the Creme Brulee will be 1-2 inches from the broiler element.. Remove seal and plastic lid from ramekin and place on baking sheet. Sprinkle one package of sugar evenly across each Creme Brulee. Place Creme Brulee under broiler element for 4-6 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Remove from broiler and let Creme Brulee stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
Thaw and Serve (Alternate method): Thaw overnight in refrigerator. Remove seal and lid. Serve cold. Sugar packet is not used for this method of serving.
