This authentic seafood gumbo from Cajun country is a classic version of this seafood soup and is produced from a recipe handed down over generations. The sweetness of shrimp and crab combine with smoky andouille sausage, onions, celery, bell pepper and garlic for a classic bayou experience and a gumbo beyond compare. A classic soup or gumbo is the ideal versatile food, as it can easily be served as an appetizer, light lunch, or effortless dinner. Two 2 lb. bags of Seafood Gumbo (each bag serves 2-4). Meal serves 4.

Seafood Gumbo
Keep Frozen. Run bags under cool water to separate them. Do not force bags apart. Place frozen bags into the boiling water. Once the water has returned to a boil, reduce heat and simmer. Hold bags at 200F for 15-20 minutes to thaw and heat thoroughly. Stirring to separate the bags during the heating process should be done with a smooth edged plastic or wooden spoon. Sharp objects and metal tongs may puncture the bag. Carefully remove the bag from the hot water, trying not to puncture the bags.
