For best results, remove the vacuum-sealed steaks from the box and thaw overnight in your refrigerator. You can also thaw the sealed steaks in cold water for 30-45 minutes. After cooking, allow the steaks to rest 3-5 minutes before serving. Verify the degree of doneness by using your kitchen thermometer. The cooking times below are in minutes and based on fully thawed steaks.
Beef Sirloin Tips
Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Place sirloin tips in skillet making sure not to crowd pieces together. If necessary, sauté tips in two batches in order to achieve adequate searing. Sprinkle with Omaha Steaks Seasoning #1141 or desired seasoning. Sear, stirring and flipping for 2-3 minutes or until desired doneness is reached. Serve over rice or noodles or use as a starter for stroganoff, chili, stew or stir-fry.
Boneless Chicken Breasts
Uncooked: For safety, must be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 ° F as measured by use of a thermometer. Thaw in Refrigerator. Broil or Grill: Preheat broiler or grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until internal temperature is 165°F. Contact Grill: Grill 3-4 minutes total on preheated contact grill or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached. Oven: Preheat oven to 350 °F. Season as desired. Place chicken breasts in greased baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached. Pan Sauté: Place 1 Tbsp. of cooking oil in a nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken breasts to pan. Cook for 4-6 minutes per side reducing heat to medium after flipping. FROM THAWED: Thaw in Refrigerator. Remove burgers from packaging while still frozen. GRILL OR BROIL: Grill or broil 5-6 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160°F. Overcooking can result in a dry product. CONTACT GRILL: Grill for a total of 5-6 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F. PAN FRY: Preheat a small amount of cooking oil in non-stick pan over medium heat. Add burgers, pan frying for 6-8 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160°F. The United Stated Department of Agriculture recommends that ground beef be cooked to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F when measured with a kitchen thermometer.
Gourmet Jumbo Franks
Boil: From Frozen or thawed, boil franks for 8-10 minutes. Grill: Grill franks over medium heat until brown on all sides. Frozen franks will cook in approximately 15 minutes. Thawed franks will cook in approximately 8 minutes. Microwave: Place frank on a microwave safe plate. Cover with paper towel. Preparation: FROM FROZEN OVEN: Preheat oven to 350°F. Place meatballs 1 inch apart on a foil lined baking sheet. Heat for 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 140°F. MICROWAVE (1100 WATT): Remove meatballs from packaging and place in a microwave safe dish. Cover with plastic wrap. Cook on high for 4 minutes for the entire bag or 2 minutes for half of bag. Let stand 1 minute before carefully removing plastic wrap.
