Sake, also called Japanese rice wine, adds to the mix of the other Asian flavors in the marinade for the grilled sirloin steak.

Marinade:

Place steak in baking dish.
Marinade:
Mix soy, sugar, sake, oil, garlic, scallions, sesame seeds, paprika and pepper in small bowl. Pour over steaks. Marinate 1 hour in refrigerator, turning after 30 minutes.
Prepare outdoor grill with hot coals or heat oven broiler. Grill or broil steaks 8 minutes per side or until temperature registers at least 145 degrees for medium-rare. Thinly slice steak across grain.
Toss greens with half the Pear Dressing; add steak. Serve other half of dressing at table. Makes 6 servings.
