SERVINGS: 5 DOZEN
INGREDIENTS: ½ lb Butter ½ cup Powdered Sugar 1¾ cups Sifted Flour 1 cup Grated Pecans 1½ tsp Vanilla Additional Powdered Sugar, for dusting finished cookies. DIRECTIONS: Cream butter and sugar. Add nuts, vanilla, and flour. Chill in refrigerator, then roll dough in small balls the size of a large olive. Press with a glass covered with a wet cloth. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees until light brown. They burn fast so do not over bake. Immediately after removing from the oven, dust cookies with powdered sugar. HELPFUL TIPS: These cookies improve with age. Comments:
