Avoiding those daily slumps is easier than you think! From early-morning breakfast to after-dinner dessert, we offer a collection of delicious foods -- featuring fresh superfoods and other mood-boosting ingredients -- that will help you eat your way to energy.

Ingredients

2 - 15 ounce cans no-salt-added garbanzo beans (chickpeas), rinsed and drained
1/4 - cup olive oil
1 - teaspoon barbecue spice
1 - teaspoon paprika
1 - teaspoon chili powder
1/4 - teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 - teaspoon celery salt
1/4 - teaspoon onion powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. In a medium bowl combine garbanzo beans, oil, barbecue spice, paprika, chili powder, garlic salt, celery salt, and onion powder. Spread in an even layer in a 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Roast about 30 minutes or until browned and crisp, stirring once halfway through roasting. Cool completely.

Place cooled chickpeas in an airtight container; cover. Store at room temperature for up to 1 week.
