In less than 15 minutes, make a single-size homemade pizza on a thin crispy tortilla shell. Top with tomato sauce, herb-flavored cheese, and pepperoni.

Quick Pizza Tostada

Prep Time: 10 mins
  • 1    6 inch   flour tortilla
  • 2    tablespoons   tomato sauce or pizza sauce
  • 1/4   cup   shredded herb-flavored or mozzarella cheese (1 ounce)
  • 1    tablespoon   cooked pepperoni pieces or 4 pepperoni slices, chopped
  •     Snipped fresh basil (optional)
Place tortilla under the broiler. Broil 3 inches from the heat about 2 minutes or until crisp, turning once. Remove tortilla from broiler.
Spread tortilla with tomato sauce or pizza sauce. Top with herb cheese and pepperoni. Return to broiler and broil for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until cheese melts. Garnish with fresh basil, if desired. Makes 1 serving.
